WISEN UP!

Hello guys,  Here is a little something that I have been mulling for a while now about my generation! . . . My generation ... The jet age people ... Millenials, some are called ... . . . . . Smart children, born from the overcompensation of determined parents.  Parents who were born poor and swore their children must live rich... Parents who suffered grievous harm and swore to show their children gentleness ... Parents who bore the yoke of religious ignorance and swore to gift their children the liberty of the mind ... Parents who toiled to escape poverty so that their children would laze in wealth ... . . . . . You see, these kids know alot and will not be lead.  They refuse to be yoked and so run in their illuminated sense right into oblivion.  . . . When my generation believes there is NO God, they insult the intelligence of millions of their forebears who have had encounters with God! When with quick-witted

YES OR NO?

Hello parents, Apologies for the brief hiatus! Sometimes one needs a break to regain strength and insight. Let me relay a brief conversation that I had with my son today. (He is four). So I just got them home from school and was making some on-demand chocolate bread. He walks up to me in the kitchen and quizzes: Wisdom: Daddy? Me: hmm? Wisdom: Are you hot? Me: hmmmmm Wisdom (exasperated): Yes or No? Me: uhhmmm Yes, Yes I am. Wisdom: Okay, you can use the fan in my room. Me. ??? What got me was the weird expression he had on when he asked "Yes or No?" Just then I remember hearing my wife scold them when they answer with unintelligible words (hmmmm, ahh, ...) This reminded me that kids do not only imitate our actions but also our words and way of speaking. He felt it was per-the-course to insist that I use the right words (Yes or No).
